i was googling a few days ago for information about homelessness in the U.S. today and found this article. unfortunately its rather disturbing, but I think its important that people are aware of things like this, and I hope that terrible incidents like this help give us even more motivation and incentive to do the important work that we do.

Hey Nada,
That is really depressing. I can't believe that people would just ignore this person and let him be. I know that it is trespassing, but it is a person. I really agree with what that person was thinking. Like who's family that person is, maybe all their family is not alive or something, but he still had a place in the world.
I think that's why it is so crucial and awesome to see what we're doing with PD. I am so glad that Wesley has decided to do this with you guys. It's been one of the most rewarding things I've done. :)
